When a family-run business with deep local roots steps into heavy equipment, it’s worth paying attention. On a sunny day in Georgia, Perry Brothers Equipment Company officially opened its doors and made a serious impression doing it. With over 100 guests, live demos, giveaways and a sizzling cookout, their grand opening proved exactly why they are ready to be a major player in the region.
Built on Trust. Ready to Deliver.
Perry Brothers may be new to heavy equipment, but they are no strangers to running a strong operation. Since 1957, they have expanded from a single-truck fuel delivery business into a diversified powerhouse serving Georgia, Florida and Alabama. From fuel logistics and DEF manufacturing to convenience stores and aviation services, Perry Brothers is known for doing things the right way. Their newest venture, Perry Brothers Equipment Company, follows the same path.
A Crowd That Showed Up Hungry for Food and Equipment
More than 100 attendees made the trip, including contractors, municipalities, utility companies and vendor partners. But the biggest surprise was the food. Longtime customer Bill Patterson, who recently purchased a SANY SY335 excavator, took over the grill and fed the crowd with ribs, chicken, sausage, cowboy baked beans, pasta salad and more. It was more than lunch. It was a feast and the perfect example of community in action. Guests even got to sample Bill’s own Fat Boy’s Rub, which was used to season the meats.
Machines, Prizes and a Mini Ex Competition That Brought the Heat
SANY machines were front and center with demo opportunities for the SY225, SY35 and SY80. A steady stream of attendees took part in hands-on walkarounds and live demos while giveaways kept the energy high throughout the day. Every 30 minutes a prize was drawn, ranging from Braves Club tickets and a Turtlebox speaker to a shotgun, a Pit Boss grill and a 55-inch smart TV.
But the most exciting contest was the Mini Ex Operator Competition that tested real skill. Top three winners walked away with high-value prizes including Braves tickets, a Recteq pellet grill and a Yeti backpack cooler.
What Guests Had to Say
From the moment the gates opened, it was clear this was not your typical open house. Attendees praised the event’s organization, the engaging activities and above all the food. But more than anything, they were interested in the equipment. Conversations buzzed around the SANY lineup and what it could do for their businesses. The Mini Ex competition added an extra layer of engagement and gave operators a chance to show off their skills.
