As one of the overseas subsidiaries of SANY Heavy Industry, Co. LTD, SANY America Inc. was founded in 2006 with headquarters located in Peachtree City, Georgia. SANY America is focusing on R&D, manufacturing, marketing & sales, service and support of SANY products in North America and South America.
In September 2007 SANY signed an investment agreement with the state of Georgia to invest 60 million with the acquisition of 272 acres to establish SANY America's headquarters and manufacturing plant for Crawler Cranes, Rough Terrain Cranes, Hydraulic Excavators, Motor Graders and Concrete Pump Trucks.
Continuing the growth and standards of excellence, SANY America is established to serve the North American market and its people. SANY America is beginning the construction of a corporate campus for the North American headquarters including a 400,000 square foot assembly building which will include 160,000 square feet of R&D space for the development and assembly of SANY's products. SANY America is committed to utilizing 95% local Human Resources in the production and R&D process. Sales revenue in the U.S. is expected to grow to 500 million by 2012.
